Often, when I’m at events or working with clients, they ask me what’s the point of drinking loose leaf teas or incorporating them into their daily practice. My first reason is always that I know they have healing and empowering capabilities from personal experience. I’ve been working with nature, herbs, fruits and flowers for as long as I can remember.
The second reason is the one eeeveryone wants to hear: herbal healing and medicines have been used in all successful ancient societies we know of, and has centuries of proven results. All of our ancestors have used potions in the form of teas, tinctures, salves, oils, and perfumes. Chinese medicine is an ancient & modern practice that still incorporates these teachings. All plants & herbs can, and have, been used to heal many sicknesses/illnesses as well as other desired results such as sleep or focus. Thirdly, each tea is made with love and intention. The herbs are picked carefully for their correspondences such as element, planetary associations, attachments to deities/spirits, etc to create a specially crafted “spell” with each batch Finally, they just taste so damn good 😅 I mean, what else is there to want in a tea. You got something delicious, and healthy, for any moment in the day. With each plant added to the blend, there are added health benefits. Whenever buying an herbal blend be sure to check the chemical reactions and uses of the herbs, or consult with a doctor if you’re truly unsure. I keep a book of all the herbs I use, including their medicinal, biological, magickal, and spiritual implications. I hope this clears up any confusion and encourages you to go on ahead and try out some herbal teas or smokes
