How Does Mentorship Work

Each program is made to fit each specific client, so we couldn't possibly tell you the entire curriculum you would receive. However we can explain the application and preliminary processes, which are the same for basically every client.

Application Form: After you've filled out and submitted the form at the bottom of this page, Imani will evaluate your application and let you know if you've been admitted into the mentorship program within 1 week  of your submission. If you don't see a response in 1 week please reach out via our Contact Form and we'll get everything figured out. Imani is only offering mentorship to a small group at this time, and if you are not accepted due to spots bein filled, you will be added to a waitlist for the next round of mentorees.

Consultation Call: If and when you have been accepted into the program, you will receive a consultation, by phone, email, or DM. In this consultation we figure out what your specific needs are, what tools you need, what blockages/challenges you may have and if I will be able to assist you along that journey. We will also get crystal clear about your goals, vision, and journey.

Imani will then develop a program that work specifically for you, your needs, your time and your budget (no one will be turned away due to financial standing).

Sessions are one-hour long and can be done in-person or virtually (via Skype/Zoom/Phone). Depending on what we decide for your specific program, you will have sessions either weekly or bi-weekly.

I'm sure you're wondering what exact practices will be used during coaching. As an eclectic practitioner with years of learning to fall back on and a spirit guides to fill in the blanks, I use a variety of tools and techniques to help wake up the power hidden deep within you. In order to create a wholistic experience, I take the knowledge of ancient societies, cultures, and traditions then integrate them with modern lifestyle, newage thought, psychology, and science. That information is then used to create a program that empowers your mind, body, heart, and spirit.

My Commitment

I've debated for a long time whether it was right for me to begin offering my knowledge and techniques to the world, because I don't fit the typical "image" of what is invoked when one thinks about a mentor. I'm and young, androgynous, indigenous chaos magickian with a love for both ancient traditions and new world magick, living in West Philadelphia; so of course I worried how I would look. However, the years I have spent immersed in this world of mysticism, philosophy, art, religion history, and the occult --over half of my life-- has put me in a position to offer a one-of-a-kind experience to a generation of magi who so desperately needs guidance but are struggling to find a teacher that speaks to their unique needs. I have been called to this work and will approach it will integrity.

As your mentor, I commit to help you access the knowledge and power you hold deep within you. This is your journey, and I will encourage you to explore it in every way possible. Though I will be your teacher, I am committed to being your companion, facilitator, and mediator to spirit until it is time for you to continue your walk independently. I am dedicated to you finding your own path, not forcing you to follow mine.

I will work consistently to make the space we share one where you can feel safe and supported.

You will be able to reach out to me in-between sessions with any questions/concerns you might be having.

I also acknowledge that though I have over 15+ years of study and experience, I am always going to be a student. If there is anything you need that I do not know about I will do everything to get you answers, find someone within my expansive network who can assist you better, or provide you the resources to dive in deeper in your independent studies.

If you will be participating in a weekly/monthly mentorship, our biggest desire is for you to be committed, conscious, and consistent. In order to see the full effects of this work, you will need to give it as much intention and attention as you are able to. Be willing to do the work and do it consistently. Of course, in exchange for this commitment, everything in this program remains flexible and open.

There will be some activities, homework, and projects given throughout your mentorship, each one tailored to enhancing your unique program. We just ask that you make an effort to do it. You will never be overloaded with "work" to do, and we try to make sure these exercises as fun and exciting to do as possible.

We also ask that you are honest and integral in whatever it is you're attempting to do or achieve with this mentorship. This is a judgement free space, and knowing exactly what results you want to see will help us bring them into fruition.
